Septic Pump Not Working
A pump that has stopped means effluent is no longer leaving the chamber — levels rise from that moment on.
Pumped systems depend on a single mechanical component doing its job every cycle. When it stops, storage above the pump-off level is all you have, and normal household use consumes that quickly.
The fault could be the pump, the float, the control board, the breaker or the supply. It is diagnosed by isolating and testing, which is work for a qualified provider — pump chambers are confined spaces with hazardous gas as well as live electrical equipment.
